Fucidin

Need fast relief from bacterial skin infections? Fucidin cream, containing fusidic acid, directly targets the bacteria causing your problem. It’s a topical antibiotic, meaning you apply it directly to the affected area, avoiding systemic side effects common with oral antibiotics.

Apply a thin layer to the infected skin two to three times daily. Ensure you cover the entire affected area, and gently massage it into the skin. Continue treatment for at least seven days, or as directed by your doctor, even if the infection seems cleared sooner. This prevents recurrence.

Important Note: Fucidin is effective against specific bacteria. If your symptoms worsen or don’t improve after a few days, consult a doctor. They can accurately diagnose the infection and prescribe the appropriate treatment. Also, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.

Potential Side Effects: While generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience mild skin irritation at the application site. Rarely, more serious reactions can occur. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience significant swelling, blistering, or an allergic reaction (e.g., hives, difficulty breathing).
